Ziyu Shen founded ECARX in 2017, and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of ECARX Holdings. 

Under his leadership, ECARX has evolved into a leading global provider of full-stack automotive technology. The company delivers advanced computing platforms, intelligent cockpit systems and software-defined vehicle architectures, deployed in millions of next-generation smart vehicles across the world. He also led the company’s listing on the NASDAQ in December 2022.

Prior to founding ECARX, Mr. Ziyu Shen held engineering and senior management roles across the automotive and connected technology sectors, including leadership positions at Shanghai Pateo Network Technology Service, OnStar Telematics and General Motors. 

A seasoned veteran in automotive intelligence and connected vehicles, he holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, earned in 2008.
