Alessandro Biondi

Alessandro Biondi is Co-founder and CTO of Accelerat and also Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. His research work focuses on safe, secure, and predictable computing systems, with particular expertise in real-time systems, cybersecurity, virtualization, and safety-critical embedded platforms.

He has authored more than 120 scientific publications, and is the recipient of the IEEE TCCPS and ACM SIGBED Early Career Awards and other academic awards. His research has led to technologies deployed in the automotive and railway industries, including Accelerat’s CLARE, currently deployed in road vehicles worldwide. Through Accelerat, he works with leading automotive, semiconductor, railway, and robotics companies to bring advanced research into production-grade systems.
